We are the initiators of India's only Design Incubation Center - Fashionova Designs, with a motive to support and nurture the designers and brands of the Garment Industry and promote Entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Our efforts are recognized by our Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi in "Mann Ki Baat" and appreciated by Textile Minister Smt. Smriti Irani.
The only Fashion Institute in India to be incubated at IIM Bangalore NSRCEL and ISB Hyderabad.
Students at IDT are trained under direct mentorship of famous Bollywood Fashion Designers like James Ferreira, Salim Asgarally, Swapnil Shinde and many others.
Candidates with 10+2 or equivalent in any stream (Science /Commerce /Humanities or Arts) with an aggregate of minimum 40%, are eligible to apply. Candidates appearing for Class XII examination in the current academic year, or awaiting results may also apply. Candidates are accepted from CBSE/ISC/State/IB/NIOS or any other equivalent Indian or International Higher Secondary Board. Candidates will be selected based on Scholarship Test & Personal Counselling Session at IDT.
IDT offers a 3-years (6 semesters) Bachelor in Design programme. IDT aims to nurture the talent and singularity in Design students in Fashion and Textile field.
One year course comprises of foundation course. A logical, sequential, hands-on experience enables students to conceptualize designs, make patterns and construct garments of impeccable quality.
The course covers technical aspects of garment design and offers link with the surrounding fashion industry.
The course is apt for the students who are professionally aware, strongly creative and possess an ability to undertake managerial responsibilities in Design, Production and Selection.
The course emphasises on Production, Costing, Marketing and Presentation of Garments besides Fashion Designing. The student specializes in the study of various international garment markets (Design Wise) viz. UK, France, USA etc., and also domestic market i.e., India besides given training in Computer Aided Design (CAD) and learning of one additional foreign language.
Advanced Diploma Certificate course provides an overview and orientation of the fashion industry. It provides an enhanced environment for thinking, learning and gestation. The program is designed to ensure a fundamental and common approach for the fashion industry in consonance with the emerging challenges and needs of the industry.
In Advanced Diploma Certificate course, examinations are held at the completion of every academic year.
Fashion Design-3 years Program. It combines an extensive educational curriculum with industrial training. The program is a fabrication of different subjects oriented towards fashion and apparel industry.
