IDT is an approved center of Pearson BTEC program. BTECs are high-quality, career-focused qualifications grounded in the real world of work. This means BTEC learners develop and apply the knowledge, skills and behaviours that employers and universities are looking for. After completing two years of Art and Design education at IDT, students can opt for various International Universities in UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand to complete its Degree in third Year.

National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is a not-for-profit public limited company, set up by Ministry of Finance. NSDC aims to promote skill development by catalyzing creation of large, quality and for-profit vocational institutions. Its mandate is to enable support system which focuses on quality assurance, information systems and train the trainer academies either directly or through partnerships.

MANTRA being a textile research association having a huge NABL accredited laboratory of various instruments and IDT being the leading design institute considering the needs of every design aspirant, as well as the industry, have joined hands together to provide technical training to the people associated with the textile sector who desire to grow in this arena.

The main objective behind this collaboration is skill up-gradation, which includes the transfer of better technology to weavers, motivating the weavers to adopt the same and also help in providing better access to market for the products, so that their productivity, quality, and earnings could be enhanced

IDT is an authorized training centre of National Centre for Vocational and Technical Education (NCVTE) in association with NCVTE Council for Vocational and Technical Education, an Autonomous, NCT New Delhi, incorporated with Government of India, in collaboration with a Scheme of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India

IDT is associated with the world’s first and oldest Fashion Design School ESMOD DUBAI for exclusive patented methods, wherein students can learn to design and produce garments in Ready to wear, Luxury ready to wear, Creator & Haute Couture.

IDT students can opt for Top up Degree program in the 3rd Year to be awarded with Esmod Bachelor Stylist & Fashion designer Degree. The Degree is issued by ESMOD France, accredited by the National Commission of Professional Certification in France, and licensed by the KHDA, Dubai.

IDT has launched Gujarat’s first ever Fashion Design & Development Incubation Center with a motive to support and nurture the fashion designers and entrepreneurs of the textile industry. It has received Start-Up recognition with Indian Government. The Center will:

• Promote Indian fashion and emerging homegrown designers around the globe.
• Provide quality On the Job training to students helping both students and industry from relying on outsourced infrastructure.
• Provide opportunities for development of youth through practical training and make them realize their full potential through capacity building.
• Generate additional Employment opportunities.

Institute of Indian Interior Designers, popularly called I.I.I.D; was founded in 1972 to establish good professional & trade practices and ethics amongst its members. Today, with over 8,000 members in 28 chapters & centres across India, IIID is true representative of the Interior Design fraternity within the country as well as globally.

IDT is affiliated to conduct three years full time Interior Design Program with recommended syllabus from prestigious IIID.

The Clothing Manufacturers Association Of India (CMAI) is the pioneer and most representative Association of the Indian apparel industry for over four decades. It has a membership base of over 20,000 companies, including Readymade Garment Manufacturers, Exporters, Retailers and Ancillary Industry. With its headquarter in Mumbai, CMAI also has branches in New Delhi, Bangalore and Pune. The Association acts as a catalyst of change in the industry by interacting with the Government on matters of policies that impact the future of apparel industry. Representing the industry's viewpoint in matters like Sales Tax, VAT etc. for the Domestic Sector and Exim Policy, procedures etc. for the Export Sector are important amongst such issues. The Association also Guides its Members on compliance with various Government Regulations.

South Gujarat Event Manager Association also known as “SGEMA” was founded by the veteran of event industry of South Gujarat. It was mainly formed to professionalize and channelize the South Gujarat Event Industry by providing a common platform where all event managers and associate members of the region can network & collaborate, thereby creating more opportunities & possibilities for self and others by using vast pool of knowledge, resources and experience each member possess.

IDT is authorized to train Garment CAD and Fashion CAD to aspirants of the industry.

Gujarat under a roof that’s what craftroots exhibition can be described as. An array of artisans and their art merged into a single roof showing exploring the young minds with creativity engraving the traditional crafts. Students of IDT volunteer the exhibition were they are guided as well as taught how to utilize them in mere future. Vivid range of arts from entire Gujarat villages combine at exhibition center. Home décor, home furnishing, fashion accessories, paintings like rogan, kalamkari, madhubani, pithora, fabric weaving like patola, ikat, fabric dyeing like bhandini, pochampuli, tie and die, paper cutting, clay pottery and many more arts are carried on work in progress.

Smile foundation associated with celebrities organizes a Kids Fashion show in Mumbai. This initiative is for the power of influence on multitudes and corporate because they have the strength of resource and elements to put together a huge and required impact towards educating more and more underprivileged children. For the Kids Fashion Show the Garments designed by Students of IDT are show cased on the ramps. Many Bollywood celebrities and Fashion Designers and models highlight the event and even students of IDT volunteers the entire event.

AlmaConnect is a social network based on private alumni networks focused on helping an alum / student get trusted help from his/her alumni network. IDT alumni is connected through Alma Connect to exchange networking and referrals.

The Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel Limited (HKRITA) was established in April 2006. To enhance Hong Kong's "cutting edge", we have the funding support from Innovation and Technology Commission, HKSAR Government. HKRITA is also supported by institutes, companies and associations in the textile and clothing industry in Hong Kong, mainland China and other countries.
